Get some founding from the world amateur go association? (Not joking)
Could illustrate with some ama pictures (country champion, winners of big ama tournaments, pairgo, women champion, youth etc…)pro pictures, like the title holders, the new pros promotion, etc… (founding from some pro association this time)
Each problem solution is printed on the back of the next day (so you ll have to wait to check)
For the difficulty, I d put a mix, and i add a global evaluation at the end of the year, according to your results.

Not exactly a calendar, and not “in production” (it’s out of print), but there’s the tsumego saijiki collection by Hashimoto Utaro, which you can also find online at 101weiqi . In the printed book, each problem comes with a calendar date and a haiku at the top of the page
