Tbh I don’t see the point of this though. I see OGS as a social network of sorts, and the activities I do here are to engage with other humans.

Im of the same mind as you. But, i also have my own custom Go board… that no one else can see… so just applying the same logic really.
I tend to agree with, and see the merits of, most every point raised above. They’re all valid perspectives. But this means little if anything…
What I would suggest (as being most productive and helpful) would be for the OGS owners to make their policy crystal clear.
Communicating the site’s guidelines - and enforcing them accordingly - will give us all the invitation to move on and express ourselves on other matters. ![]()
It is not their space because it is not defined as their space by TOS.
The possibilities for self expression is limited here.
But it is possible to place a link to an external page outside OGS.
