oooh thanks lol
I think that I’ve peaked at around 12k, before game number 150 my graph went mostly up, but now it’s more of a wave.
In your last 25 ranked games, you have only lost 6, that doesn’t really sound like peaking to me.
Further, if you care about improving, you might want to play more humans rather than mostly bots.
Ok, sure, thanks for the advice. (I also have bad experiences playing with people, it’s super stressful). Anyways, WHY WAS THIS MARKED AS SEKI OR WHATEVER OMGGGGGGGG NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. (But still, like actually, White could take a few points or two, but not the whole thing… Why was the entire territory not marked?
In the 7th row there’s a Black stone missing, so your territory isn’t closed. Only closed territory can be counted as territory (as per the rules any consecutive area of open intersections that both border living black and white stones is considered dame)
Yep, but I didn’t know it would create that much damage lol, I saw white passed so I didn’t see clearly there was still that, I thought that it was over and I passed
Well next time you’ll be more careful
Plus, OGS now displays a warning during the scoring phase in such situations, so you had extra-opportunity to correct it (unless this was against a bot, in which case I think there’s no scoring phase).
There is a warning in place, for example, here I played a test game and left open a gap. On the right you can see the warning it generates:
Hmm… did we remember to test this warning works against bots?
It was a bot. Looks like today is a bad day for me, as I played with that same bot again and lost by half a point. Enough ogs for today lol
