It never did get much traction from anyone else, though I think Kirby did use it originally to get some of the scripts going. (But yes, I’ll definitely update both of those repos on Github with the latest changes and deployment files)
Made more progress tonight - got some theming back, and all the diagram generation code working with the newest version of PHP (which required an almost complete rewrite, as the old code used a very unsafe exec block that was completely removed in PHP 8.4).
Say, @apetresc, do you have plans to somehow inform all L19 members?
Because I believe that, after such a long time of being offline, many people will not visit L19 every few days or weeks like I do to see whether something has changed.
Please read the announcement post with some additional details at LifeIn19x19.com v2.0! - Life In 19x19 , and I re-iterate my call for admins/mods to help with hunting down any remaining bugs and doing a reorganization of some sub-communities that have become obsolete.
I’ve also (hopefully!) resolved the e-mail sending issue that was blocking new registrations even before the outage, so we should theoretically be able to turn those back on. Hopefully Kirby or trohde or one of the other admins can confirm.
Thanks again for your patience everyone!
Good idea. The bulk-email functionality is working again so we should be able to do that from the admin panel itself. Let’s just iron out all the bugs amongst the die-hards first before we open the floodgates with an e-mail. Hopefully this weekend.
Ah, those were just not working because they were from so long ago that they still used the /forum/ path which stopped existing ages ago. I’ve updated them for you, they all work now
