The old master in my club does that. He plonks it somewhere near him and slides to its destination. The plonk is so loud that I once got a headache after playing against him.
This is not actually true.
The Malkovitch log is there for note that you want people other than your opponent to see.
It was put in place based on the idea that it would be interesting to watch what people are thinking, hence the name.
Your opponent can see those notes by logging outâŚ
If it were intended for only you to see, it would be locked down so only you can see it.
It does have an apparent use as personal notes that your opponent can see later (note that they see them after the game) but it may be worth being aware of this subtlety.
Iâll use it for that, too, but I usually just assume my opponent wonât try and read my Malko log until after the game. Maybe Iâm too trusting there, but I donât think so.
My malk logs are filled with things like âI canât wait for the AI review to make fun of me for this sequence after the gameâ or âand this is why I shouldnât try to read in byo-yomiâ
Is âand this is why I shouldnât try to read in byo-yomiâ immediately followed by a post-game chat âand this is why I shouldnât send Malko messages in byo-yomiâ?
Notes are on every last turn-based server Iâve seen to date; why not this one, too?
As in not malkovich log but a separate notes that only the user can see?
Yes. I think the answer to âwhy not this one, too?â is âbecause itâs one of many wish list items yet to make it to the top of the listâ
