I learned to play go in the late 80s from my high school math teacher, Thomas Rike, who ran a go club at the school. After college, I lived in Japan for two years and had the chance to play at many go clubs and even appear in the Fukuoka-Ken tournament. I also studied at a Korean go club in Los Angeles for six months and appeared at the Cotsen twice. I have been playing off and on for about 35 years. Feel free to message me or challenge. My name is a re-translation of the characters for my name that I used for my banking while in Japan.
