Hello! I'm Rene. I like many things besides go, I play the piano and the cello and I aspire to be a professional musician, I write poetry in both english and spanish, I watch anime and speak fluent english and spanish, and semi-fluent japanese (mainly written in kana), as well as a very small bit of portuguese, italian, french, russian (although I can't write it) and an even smaller bit of greek. I like painting, specially on acryllic and watercolour, as well as drawing. My favourite composers are Rachmaninoff, Rautavaara, Gorecki, Part, Prokofiev, Zoltan Kodaly, Dvorak, Smetana, Mussorgsky, and recently I've grown to like Anton Arensky. My favourite animes are Bakemonogatari, Hyouka and Mushishi. My favourite painters are Van Gogh, Monet and Renoir, but I also like Morandi and other modernists. My favourite writers are Poe, Hemingway, and Fitzgerald in english; and Francisco de Quevedo, Juan Rulfo and Arturo Pérez Reverte in spanish. I like to consider myself friendly, but I also am a sore loser, so I do everything I can to win as long as I had that intention to start with. I also like chatting with people all over the world so I'd be glad to talk just about anything with whomever wishes to do so.
