Hi all,

We are excited to announce that the 2018 German Go Championship (a.k.a. Deutsche Go-Einzelmeisterschaft) will be streamed on EGF’s Twitch channel, live from Bremen, Germany. The German Go Championship is a 4-day round robin tournament between 8 of Germany’s strongest Go players, one of which will be crowned the 2018 German National Champion. This will be the first of our many broadcasting projects to come in Europe, so stay tuned for updates

Thanks to our friends at Twitch, the following schedule will be partially promoted on the Twitch front page:

*all times in CEST; actual start times might slightly vary

Day 1 (Oct 11) Round 1: 10.00-14.00 Round 2: 16.00-20.00
Day 2 (Oct 12) Round 3: 10.00-14.00 Round 4: 16.00-20.00

NOTE: If you are a Go streamer on Twitch and look forward to be hosted by the EGF channel in between 14.00 and 16.00, please contact us! Depending on when the games finish, we might not guarantee a full 2-hour host but if it happens, you’ll provide the crowd with awesome content and boost your channel’s growth!
