“Picard, when was beamed away.
Captain’s crew, their faces wet.”
You know, all this makes me feel old, ofc, and just recently I heard again about two people I’ve known a little better than just waving across the street having levelled up.
Tea, Earl Grey, hot.
I think this interview from 2023 is particularly comforting. Some may remember that Stewart, at the start of TNG, had a low opinion of science fiction in general and doubted whether it could offer any serious dramatic substance. That changed over time, and here we see the culmination of the transformation. It’s gratifying to see how happy he was that his performance as Picard had touched so many lives around the world and is the chief legacy of his distinguished career.
