Hi i just had a game where i had a fight early for the top right corner and i think that was what lost me the game as i gave up the midle for it and lost a couple of stones could some1 look over the early part and point out how i could have done it better?
Black was doing really well in that fight, actually. After that part was settled, black had a great wall, and white’s center stones were separated by big gaps, so white definitely didn’t have control over the center. But black didn’t know how to use the wall to exploit the weaknesses in white’s framework.
The general principle for attacking is “Look, But Don’t Touch.” Considering the way in which the middle game went wrong for black, I’m certain you can gain a lot of go strength by improving the flaws in your attacking style.
