Maybe 2x2 is meant to refer to Rengo? Seems doubly hard, and I’m not sure how blindfold Go could be facilitated by OGS.

Put a scaff on your eyes and try to click on the right spot.
But maybe the OP is refering to something similar to ghost go, a go variant where each player don’t see where the opponent plays (similar to the battleship game in some way). IRL needs 3 boards, one for each player and one for the referee. The referee announces whose turn it is, points illegal moves, manage the captures and scribes the game. Online, we could program it to not need anymore a referee.
