The finals best-of-three match of the 31st LG Cup has been decided to be between Shin Minjun 9p from Korea and Wang Xinghao 9p from China. Shin won against Yang Kaiwen 9p from China, while Wang won against World No. 1 Shin Jinseo 9p from Korea in the semi-finals.
Shin Minjun also won the previous LG Cup against Ichiriki Ryo 9p from Japan, but nobody has ever won the LG Cup twice in a row.
Will Shin be able to break the curse of the LG Cup and win it again? Or will Wang Xinghao add another world major title to his name? What are your predictions for the final score?

Let’s just say it was a very close game. Even Dang Yifei (one of the pros who has the best yose skill) said he couldn’t tell during the yose about how to settle and pick which yose moves (he was one of the commentators for bilibili foxwq livestream).
In the past, Shin Minjun sometimes made big blunders in his yose (or close to yose), and lost the games he could have won (some commentators even make fun of him for being prone to blunders), and I am sure he knew his shortcomings, and put a lot of effort and training into correcting them. He was the champion for the last (30th) LG cup after all (but due to the lack of Chinese players, some might question this world champion title, hence he had reasons to take it again to prove that he is indeed worth the title)
