We are pleased to invite the Go players community to the 3rd “China Town” Weiqi Cup, which will take place in Warsaw, Poland on October 14-15, 2023.
Last year’s edition of the China Town tournament was one of the largest events of this type in Poland in recent years. We hope that together with you we will be able to repeat this success and we will meet again at our tournament in Warsaw, Poland.
The prize pool is more than 10 000 EUR, including 2000 for 1st place. The sum of prizes in the TOP10 is 8150 EUR. There are also financial prizes for juniors, for winning 5 and 4 games, for DDK, SDK and up to 4 dan players. There is also a prize pool for the best tournament rookies - 300 EUR. Notes
Special prizes, Best player in class prizes and First Tournament Ever prizes are cumulative with each other. In case of player winning more prizes, they cumulate. For example, top U16 player winning 4 of 5 games, and ending as best in class 9-7 kyu, receive 50 + 40 + 100 EUR, total 190 EUR.
