We are happy to announce, that the 4th European Pro Championship will be hosted by the Jena International Go School (www.go-jigs.eu) in Jena, Germany! From the 5th to the 8th of March 2019 the strongest European Go players will fight for this years title and considerable prizes. The games will be broadcast live on Twitch and KGS by Youngsam Kim (8d) and Stephen Xiaocheng Hu aka xhu98 (5d). You can find more details on the EGF-page of the tournament.
While most of us can’t compete for the title we can show those Pros what a power triangle really is and lose miserably against them in the Bonus Tournament during the weekend ( 9th/10th of March ) after the Pro Championship. A Bonus Tournament is a tournament where Pros and the strongest amateurs can score bonus points for the European Grand Prixand use them to qualify for the Grand Slam. That means you have a chance to play against some of the strongest players in Europe! Andrii Kravets (1p) will be available during the tournament to comment your games.
