It surprised me when they resigned. Were they right to or was there anything they could have done?
Every player have a right to resign at any point for any reason. Usually, it’s because they are losing and they have no way that they can see to catch up. Sometimes, something comes up on their side that has nothing to do with the game.
Be thankful that they brought it to a conclusion no matter the reason. Some people simply escape like it’s going to help somehow.
Resigning was right. After white played G2 (where black should have played!), the whole right side died, and there was nothing black could do.
