A collection of Go Projects that can help beginners a lot

Hello everyone,
A few days ago on my birthday,

I released an update to my Go Roadmap website that has a bunch of guides(mostly for beginners) and a list of resources.
The Roadmap was initially just my notebook where I kept track of my progress and free resources I used. It was initially released in 2021 and since then it changed a lot as I got suggestions from strong people, mainly Vadim(from GoMagic), Blackie 9p, Diana 1p, Yeonwoo Cho 2p and Young Sun Yoon 8p.
The Roadmap: Weiqi Roadmap

I also released a lectures directory site called BadukTube that is just YouTube but has a great filtering system for Go related things.
This was also a notebook in my PKM but it was getting difficult to manage so I decided to turn it into this nice website. Right now it has 600+ videos, and there’s still 1000+ videos left in my PKM to add there :sob:
The Lectures Directory: BadukTube
I’m looking for help with BadukTube as I added the videos in bulk so I assumed most videos didn’t get assigned topics/tags/ranks correctly.
If you find such video there please dm me the video’s name and the correct topics/tags/rank I should assign to it. You can also suggest new topics/tags as well

Apart from that I also made a telegram tsumego bot and idk why  but honestly I’ve been enjoying it myself in both my telegram study group and personally.

The Project: Let’s Go!!!

I usually don’t use forums so please forgive me if I make any mistakes here.

Nice that on your birthday instead of receiving presents you give them away.

BTW I need some help with BadukTube before I add more videos there.
I’ve edited the original post about the help I need.
Thank you

Hello SoumyaK4,
Thank you for the nice collection of useful resources!

Why did you put https://go.kahv.io/ as Go Variants Server(Outdated)? As far as I know, this is still the only place where one can play variants such as Hidden Move Go, just to name one.

I am happy that you linked govariants.com as Go Variant Server, but both are individual projects that can coexist. Comparing the available variants, there’s only little overlap.

Also may I suggest adding this recent publication: AntonTobis Random Opening Generator.

Regards,
Martin

I did see in the discord in February that @seequ mentioned the mobile version might not have been working for about 6 months.

Might be slightly outdated :stuck_out_tongue:

The things that came out after the last release are just added to my development site and I update the roadmap once there’s a lot of things. So expect the next update around 3rd week of May.(Also the long delay is because I got mentally exhausted trying to develop the BadukTube and couldn’t focus much on my go studies  so taking a break from coding)

And about the variant server, there’s 2 reasons for flagging it outdated,

  1. It didn’t work for few people but did for some,
  2. The design is kinda outdated and isn’t optimized for mobile :sweat_smile:

Thank you for your suggestions, feel free to

Yes exactly, though the people I asked, some said it works some said it doesn’t
