Second one is correct

For the first one, what common sandwich is this inspired by?

I saw this was a veggie burger but can’t think of a go player related to that.

This game would be so much better on Reddit…

Discourse is HORRENDOUS for this kind of nested discussion :sob::sob::sob:

About the fun unauthorized use of people’s names: In the science fiction community, Bob Tucker, a famous fan and excellent writer (under the name Wilson Tucker), sometimes used names (often altered) of his friends in fandom for characters in his stories. I never heard of anyone being offended; indeed, it became a great distinction if he made a “Tuckerism” out of your name. I treasure the memories of my encounters with him at several room parties.

For me it was fun and no more than fitting your status of reader of many a great work of world literature by making a meme that was double literary. Joseph Conrad’s Heart of Darkness and Herman Melville’s Moby Dick.

Actually, the reference to night made me think of my age first, because of Dylan Thomas’s “Do not go gentle into that good night…”

I knew that was … who it was… instantly, before opening the spoiler

This one has a few steps… I wonder if anyone will make all the connections…

Is it a meme if it doesn’t have a caption?

It has a very loud caption for those who recognise it.

There is no single format that memes must follow.

I wouldn’t even know what first step to do.

Hint?

I think it’s meant to imply that BHydden is pronounced like Biden

Very close. It’s a reference to people thinking it’s pronounced like Biden… But actually it’s “be hidden” as correctly noted (though incorrectly guessed) by jlt :slightly_smiling_face:
