I see that now the graph is showing in the analysis mode, and the ghost variations are there too. However, when I click moves other than the ghost variations, the AI doesn’t suggest any moves. Is this a bug?

Hi @anoek , possible to check on this? AI is still not suggesting any moves outside the ghost stones in the analysis mode.
Is this for a particular game, or all of your games?
What browser are you using?
It’s happening to all games that I tried.
I’m using Chrome but I just tried on Safari and it was the same result.

As far as I’ve heard, yes
Can you try disabling and re-enabling the AI reviews? Are there any errors in the javascript console?

I ran into the issue last night, but I’ve reopened those games and had a fiddle and don’t see the issue anymore. I have run into this same problem every now and again.

I’ve tried turning it on and off several times and it’s still the same issue. It even happens on different PCs.
Below is the console log but it doesn’t look like there’s anything useful. If anything it even says it’s connected to wss://ai.online-go.com
Can you check on the following things:
Analysis works for games you’ve played played here
Analysis works for reviews you’ve created of games you’ve played here
Analysis works in analysis mode for SGFs you’ve uploaded
Analysis does not work when you create a review for an SGF you’ve uploaded (I think that’s what you are experiencing based on the screen shot you’ve uploaded): I’m tracking that here now: Interactive AI analysis when reviewing uploaded SGFs does not work · Issue #3208 · online-go/online-go.com · GitHub
As a temporary work around, I believe you should be able to explore moves and get the AI analysis right in the initial SGF you’ve uploaded, it just wont be recorded as a separate review.

Oh yes you are right! I seldom create reviews for my own games so I didn’t realise it’s working.
I see that the issue is already closed so it’s going to be released soon?

Same problem here. The AI analysis is stuck other than the “suggested” path of play. It does not offer alternative plays other than the suggested 10-15 predicted best play options.
I think we might need to check your supporter status, or you might need to clarify what exactly you’re doing.
I can see that your Profile says you are a supporter.
However, as a supporter, what you’re asking about works for me:
Here you can see that I clicked on move 80 then took a non-recommended path twice.
Each time, as in the screenshot, I’m getting AI assessment of the “next moves” in the chosen path.
This does not work for me in my non-supporter account.
If the problem you are describing is that precisely this does not work for you, you might want to reach out to anoek about supporter status (he’s the only one who can investigate the details).

@PureVessel @Ccoss is it working now or is the problem still persisting? Is it all games or just particular games?
We have the problem for several weeks actually. For all games, every move. Even when re-analyzed them. Thank you for your support and quick response already

It seems it may be better to cancel subscription and re-enable it at a later month. I edited “themes and visuals” section a lot, I presume this “ai bug” may be related to those changes or some other settings. But I could not find the default values or the reason behind it. Thanks anyway.
