Is there an expected public release date for the Android app? I have emailed @matburt to join the beta, but have received no response. Did the app get pushed to the back burner during the transition to the new site?
I had placed it on hold while we built and released version 4.0 of the site… I’ll be starting up work on it again pretty soon.

Not at the moment, it’s a bit broken since we released but I’ll be opening up the beta channel publically once I make the changes for it to work on 4.0

Playing via phone makes my browser crash, site needs ages to build. Even a simple android app with basics features would instantly convince me to supporting the site. As it is, I mostly play on phone (just a matter of spare time) and ogs is always my second choice.
@fnord, I don’t know about your site prefs, but if you have board thumbnails on your landing page you could try switching to list view in the Site Preferences area of your Settings page … with luck this could stop your browser from crashing.
