There should be no doubt about this.
Y’all seeing what’s happened in the USA, right?

I think there were also other interpretations of the evidence at the time which seemed appealing to politicians. I’m not sure I’d characterise it as “ignoring” more like mis-judgement based on wondering what is more likely to get me/us reelected or some such.
Misjudgment based on what one want to be happening. Because until you admit something is happening, it’s not happening. Power of words.
It’s no secret that everyone has to learn proper hide and seek technique. This is common knowledge, handed down throughout the ages. But even as a child, I had exceptional talent for this difficult art. To remain undiscovered, remember one important rule. Don’t look. And then no one will see you. What I can’t see - isn’t there. Strange. But it works.
Us being us and rich people being rich.
Extra fun: she was supposed to be quarantining from a trip abroad.
Yes, it’s an hour long and yes it’s mostly about internet-famous people that most of us don’t care about, but D’Angelo makes good quality videos (and the ending caught me off guard)
Also, I’m glad he brought the Dr. Mike issue back up, it’s sad how many of his fans let it go because they like his cheekbones.
This is an interesting observation:
What a total surprise!
We have all the best mutants in the UK. Go us!
Why don’t we ever get the cool mutations tho.
There is still a possibility that even more fast spreading mutation appears that is also not dangerous. Then everyone will be auto-vaccinated. There was an idea to create such variant artificially and spread it on purpose. But risk is - it may mutate afterwards and stop being not dangerous while still be fast spreading.
It sounds like one of the Rick and Morty episodes, trying to fix a love-bug virus by releasing a fixing virus, and then counter-fixing, counter-counter-fixing, and ended up destroying the whole world.
And spoiler
Rick didn’t fix the world in the end, they just jumped to a new parallel universe.
Achievement: Now there are more vaccination doses administered than coronavirus cases confirmed
*there are more cases than confirmed and full vaccination usually needs 2 doses.
I know there’s a language barrier, but I suggest following our news, we are comedic gold at this point.
They are thinking locking up everyone inside by 18:00 in Attica, because Attica is on high alert. But it’s basically impossible to keep people going to work and be home by 18:00, especially in the capital.
So, the thought process is
Attica is on high alert -> we need extra measures in Attica -> we can’t have those extra measures in Attica -> we will impose extra measures in other regions and leave Attica as is.
Also, one of our clown ministers said that, "yeah, we will keep opening and closing the shops as we see fit. Any SME owner who can’t cope, bring your shop keys to me.’ Yes, nobody kicked him.
I can’t even believe the miracle that our casualties are still so low with that circus in power.
Well, I obviously have no clue about that ‘circus’ of yours. But just looking at infection numbers it seems that Greece has done considerably better than Germany. And even Germany is sometimes praised as a country having reacted comparatively well. (Which, I should add, from my perspective doesn’t mean more than having chosen the wrong reference point for comparison.)
I guess our lack in highways and all those islands are in our favor, in a way, for the time being. The only densely populated areas (Attica and, at a lesser degree, Salonica) aren’t doing well at all.
Another example of our clowns, a minister said “nobody has died in ICUs”, the same day a girl died in a hospital that doesn’t even have an ICU yet. Basically, we can’t die in ICUs if they never build them, amirite.
Germany in geographically at a central point, juggling so many balls at once can’t be easy.
I haven’t been following the situation elsewhere too closely, but from a German that I talked to, he felt that Germany did a good job during the first wave, but has done terribly (even comparing it to the USA) in the second wave.
Well, purely from an infection numbers perspective we have done better than the US. But being proud to have reacted better than Trump? Really???
I like this channel and was happy to see this, even though I don’t actually know anything about Bill Gates activities in this field.
I think I must look for some more informations about it.
No, that’s not what I meant. My German colleague expressed that, while he felt the first wave was handled okay in Germany, he felt that in the second wave things have gotten as bad as the USA. He was not taking pride in doing better than the USA, but rather lamenting how things have gotten worse and using the USA as a measuring stick for failure.
