In Beginner Level 3 puzzle 6.7.15, white at 1-4 is regarded correct. But in my understanding, whites 5 stone group can easily be captured with just 2 moves rendering any attempt to capture blaks 5 stone group useless.
Is this analysis correct?

edit: yes, that’s correct. black’s 5 stones are alive, but black has to react to your move
The problem asks to “capture as many stones as possible in a snapback”. The answer is that you can capture just 2 stones in a snapback, and not the other 5.

Does that mean, that the advantage of playing W1-4 instead of W1-5 is that W gets a stone one spot further to the left in exchange for B placing one stone at 6-3?
(B1-5 W2-5 would be worse for black)
And the in the engame, either B1-3, W1-5 or W1-3, B5-1, and maybe later B1-1, W1-5.
Ah, I just realised that after W1-4, B6-3, white can continue with W1-3 B5-1 right away denying black territory in the corner.
