Beginner Review Request - 20k player vs 13k bot, 5 stone handicap

Game link: rainywisp vs. noob_bot_3

Hello, I have been studying go seriously only for the past few weeks, so I’m still figuring out where I stand rank-wise. This game was played on correspondence time, unranked, with a 13k bot. I had a 5-stone handicap. My primary objective with this game was pursuing whole-board strategy and direction of play without time constraints, so I would appreciate feedback especially on my tenukis: where it was justified, where it wasn’t, where I could have earlier.

My feelings during the game were that I was taking losses in most local conflicts, but in exchange was able to build up nice frameworks elsewhere. The bot’s playing style was more locally greedy than I expected, so I was happy when I was able to force the bot to respond to my tenukis, as at move 115.

In terms of skill level, I have been reading books and solving tsumego quite religiously, but as I have found those do not translate to skill in games without experience. Regardless of my rank, I am curious what aspects I am most in need of improvement in. According to my own perception, estimating score and endgame priority are high up there, but it is hard to evaluate my own middle-game/fighting play.

I would prefer to review a game of you against an opponent of approximately the same rank.

… and against a human opponent.

I don’t mind reviewing games against a bot. But you won this one pretty comfortably, which limits how much you can learn from it…

The first thing that jumps out to me is shape.

I would be happy to provide one, but it will take some time until I have anything like that. There are a few ongoing correspondence matches that might suffice, but it remains to be seen if my opponents are similarly ranked. I suppose all I can do is keep playing.
