Anyway I can’t help. I bought vols 1, 2 and 3 second hand a few years ago and have been searching for volume 4 since then, without success.

Edit: I just realized you wanted the pdf, and not the hard copy.

You can download epub versions (not exactly PDF but similar) of these and many more books from gobooks.com

“Basic” in the title of Fujisawa’s books means “things that look basic for a professional”. These are not beginner books! I think you will be much better off starting with Graded Go Problems for Beginners volumes 1 and 2, and then Tesuji by James Davies from the Elementary Go Series. These are also available at gobooks.com.

OP seems to be a gifted 3D beginner though!

Or maybe not, no idea where jlt got that screenshot from.

That was before his games have been annulled by a mod.

You know, your ranking with bots will be used when you play humans.

why would they do such a stupid thing
we need to practise with bots,i have never seen such a thing before bot matches r bot matches everywhere:((
but tnx for saying i should find a way to get rid of this stupid idea of counting bot matches for rank

You can play assisted games unranked at least if you don’t want to create distortion in the global ranking. (Note that this is even not really allowed but there could be some tolerance)

The global ranking is reflecting the strength of the players without any external help (be bots, books, stronger player, etc…) as the TOS of OGS is asking for.

Also, you’ll learn more if you play by yourself and don’t let AI make decisions for you.

That’s more a debate. AI may be a nice tool for learning especially if you check it after (instead of before) playing your move.

i just wanted to get hang of it otherwise i have no idea what should i do

Usually, it’s a good idea to simply play many games against humans. Maybe people who are in the 25k to 20k range at first, and occasionally against stronger players, maybe with handicap. You’ll get to experience many different playing styles and learn how to deal with them.

While playing with AI support against bots will probably give you a bit of a sense of which shapes and moves can be good, but I think you’ll then still lack the practical experience.
For example, I imagine that after studying with AI for a while, you’d play against a 20k and start with moves that you learned are good, but after just a few moves, your opponent will do something totally unexpected and you wouldn’t know how to defend yourself against some silly-looking moves.

Well like advised I recommend you to play humans around the same level as you. It’s more tasty as playing a bot.
Then I’d say you can play ranked to be fitted with opponent of your level. And you can hide the ranks to yourself so that you care less on it. Imho until reaching a level near sdk (single digit kyu) you shouldn’t care that much on your rank. The important point is to play, try things, and your progress will come naturally. It mostly takes time to digest.
