Bot create an open challenge

The api of “/v1/challenges/” is not allow to call by bot? Or not allow bot create an open challenge?

I think there are some special cases that bot should create an open challenge, for example, fixed stone handicap, special board size.

And, the new challenge notification not include “private”? I need this information
