I read this and thought it was referring to Go as a bar for broken friends. Like a Tom Waits song.

im pretty sure i did not friend people on my alt
but isn’t the friends bar supposed to show up anyway?

This was supposed to be fixed and I put that this issue was happening again on another thread that was talking about the chat server being offline and other issues relating to that.

No. If you have zero friends, the indicator is hidden.
