Bug in new report replies?

A report I made got handled, so I saw

Thank you for your report, {{reported}} has been given a formal
warning about scoring properly, and that cheated game annulled.

Is there a bug, where ​ {{reported}} ​ was supposed
to be replaced with the reported user’s username?

I suppose this could instead be for user-privacy, but in that case
I think ​ ​ ​ “that user” ​ ​ ​ would fit better than ​ ​ ​ {{reported}} ​ .

No, not recent. That problem has existed almost from the beginning. I assumed it was already known by @GreenAsJade, so I never bothered to mention it.

Note: the only negative consequence of there being a user with that name is the resulting confusion if someone reports the strange looking warning message and I wonder “wait, I thought I fixed that” :sweat_smile:

That dodge, in many forms I will not specify, has been used by trolls on OGS for many years in an effort to confuse their identity. As the cartoon implies, it actually has the effect of identifying a suspicious character.
