Hi all,
URL of problem is https://online-go.com/puzzle/9931
Any one has idea why this is not a solution?
Could it be that white might push at E17, black connect at F18 and then white could cut at F16?
Thanks,
JF

Except white can earlier.
He can earlier, true, although then black will easely capture white making the cut useless.
Anyway the idea is that both first moves kill but the correct one leave a somewhat better position to handle afterwards.
There is a mistake in white’s response:
Instead of responding to black C19 with B18, white should play at B19.
If white responds with B18, then your move indeed works to kill! (as you note there is some slightly bad aji on the outside, but it looks like black will have no trouble saving both sides after the cut, and white’s group on the inside is very short on liberties)
