My native speaker friends, because I’m triggered a bit with the frequent revelation lately that Clossius is, indeed, still amongst us, wouldn’t it be “Clossius is live”?
No?..

No?..
I’ve noticed that too, and yes, you are correct.
Who’s Clossius?
Clossius is a Go teacher with an account on OGS who does frequent twitch streams.
His streams get a sitewide notification.
Maybe it was just a typo? I guess not all of the people that set the notifications are native English speakers either.
Yes, probably, and they copy-pasted to the subsequent notifications.
But it’s a bit funny to see “This person is alive!” as a notification, although my brain gets the message pretty quickly.
I thought it meant that they had not streamed in a long time, but they were back to teaching (“I’m still alive!”).
It could have also been a tsumego pun though …
Okay, a lot of talk, but I am still wondering if Clossius is dead or alive.
As you can see, Clossius is alive.
So Tabii is dead?
'Fraid so, along with all these people, tornadoes and needles.
Well you don’t need two eyes to live. For example, one or no eyes is sufficient in seki.
If you need two I s to live, then I guess kingfishers and mantis shrimp are inheriting the Earth…
Oh, and giant squid.
and people named Phillip.
Philip & Gillian~
And francophone guys called Didier.
