There is currently only options for “alert” or “don’t alert” for byoyomi, so when playing blitz with active alerts it will beep every single second for the entire time you are in byoyomi, and i for one find it hugely distracting.
Preferable would be to have an adjustable beep-period for different length byoyomis, or automatically beep for 5 seconds in blitz.
