Hi,
I started this demo board with Chinese rules (which the game information tab confirms). However, here it displays the rules as being Japanese:
What gives?

This happens for my demo boards with New Zealand rules, as well. KataGo self-play - 12 x 12 game

I can confirm that this is a valid glitch/bug.
I’ve written a test, which fails due to this bug. So hopefully a developer would fix this.

I have also collected some info. Here is the summary:
Some information, no matter in games or demo boards, anything with a board, is sometimes inaccurate. Sometimes it shows that I was playing unranked, but if you click on game info, it says ranked. This happens to gamerules as well, as @Maharani said.

Yes, I’ve observed this as well. And to note it I’m updating the end-to-end test. That way this bug stays documented in the code. So, whenever any dev runs the e2e test suite, they’ll see this issue. And I’ll link this forum post in the there as well.
