I would like to know when I have the “disable conditional moves”… Would that mean that my opponent conditional moves will automatically be disabled or is that just for me? I ask bc I dont want my opponent to be continuously be checking what is her/his best response to my play. How does this work? Thank you

Neither opponent will be able to use conditional moves, if it’s disabled.

If you create a game with analysis disabled, neither player can use analysis, conditional moves nor score estimator.
On the other hand, the “always disable analysis” on the settings page disables it only for you, your opponents will still be able to use it,
