Hi there, I’m a beginner and have a question about scoring. On the screenshot OGS counted the white group on the left as captured in the end. I thought they were alive. Am I wrong? I thought I had two eyes.

I agree with you that the group is alive. I think in the counting phase you could manually marked it as alive by clicking on any stone/point in this group.

If White didn’t mark that as dead, then it was probably
score-cheating by Black: Try reporting that game.
(whether that would help is a tougher question:
Has OGS lost its mods? )

At the level of these players (~25k OGS), it’s also quite possible that black doesn’t have a solid understanding of eyes and life & death, so it could just be a genuine misjudgement on their part when marking dead stones.
Reporting the game would still be the right call though (to at least have the game annulled). The moderator handling the report may also point them to some tutorial/explanation about life & death.

Thank you all for the replies. As it was pointed out the game got annulled. I reported it anyway but I don’t know of that helps.
