Within the last week or so I have been unable to load OGS pages on my work laptop. Unsure if this is some issue with the VPN the laptop has or what but some of the network requests are coming back 403 and the call to cdn.online-go.com for the locales has the blocked by orb error.
The page stays with the little animation of the white and black stone bouncing
Has anyone experienced this and knows a work around? Sitting in an office for 9 hours a day without playing a game in unbearable
Well, if OP’s work is not OGS or baduk related, I can fully understand the employer blocking acces. Getting paid for playing games during work hours is abnormal and can be considered a theft.
Or am I too old fashioned? Is this considered normal nowadays?
Internet search indicates that “blocked by ORB” may be a CORS issue. Indicating that it may be something more than “employer preventing gaming”. I wonder if there’s something OGS is supposed be doing differently w.r.t. the response headers.
