Hi, I realized I have a rank number for 9x9 blitz games, but I don’t remember have never played ranked blitz games. I just found one unranked. I can click the category 9x9 blitz games (on the rating table) and see that 2 games occurred between yesterday and today, but I can’t see any game with the lightning icon on the list of total ranked games. What could that be?

Ah cool - I see what you see.
You can find the games that the ranking engine is talking about by toggling you rank chart to “by game” instead of “by date”, selecting Blitz in the ranking table, and mousing over the dot for the game of interest:
I’m not sure why the GameHistory Table is showing it as “Live” … I wonder if we have new bug there 
Or whether it is on a borderline that falls one way or another

Yes - go to your Profile page and click the little Edit button under your avatar.

Exactly! Wow, thanks, another thing I learned today as a novice I didn’t know about that toggle. Indeed the games are there, but they are not registered as blitz in the game history.

As you may know, things are unusually unstable at the moment after a big change that included introducing a new time type.
I suspect this might be a bug related to that.
One might wonder @anoek how indeed do “rapid” games appear in the Game History?
And in fact, do we need a “rapid” column in the rating table?
Are we in fact tracking “rapid” as a separately ranked item? So many questions all of a sudden

bug where Blitz games displayed as Live and didn’t count towards Blitz rank existed for years
but now, we suddenly have 4 categories

I’m pretty sure rapid Fischer is going to be categorized as blitz, and rapid Byo-Yomi as live with the present state of things.
There’s an open question about the future of tracking ratings for the different time settings, but it’s not an easy thing to simply add a column, it takes a lot of back-processing to make that happen, so my thought is we’ll collect some data over the next little bit here and then come up with a way forward in 2025 with some rating system updates. @dexonsmith had several thoughts in that regard, so we’ll probably try to combine all of that into one big rating system update.

I did not know that. Could that also explain why for the first time in a couple of months for the last 3 or 4 days the amount of time to initiate a match (mostly quick match) became unusually very long as I’ve never experienced before?
About the username change, if it’s easy I’m not being able to find it. Profile → Preferences → Account gives you the option to change the profile picture, the name (as optional) and shows me a huge e-mail which I have no idea what is means.
Yeah because the forum account is auto-generated from the OGS account I think editing on this end is harder than you would normally expect.
if you log out from forum, then when you return, it may update

Yes, now my name is the same here too, that’s what I wanted 
But was that made by some admin? Because I think I chose the other username when I made this forum account. Since nobody asked me what I wanted, it was a happy coincidence, because I could have wanted “FlyingBadger”.
