Failed to receive "Game Start" notification

I believe there may be an issue with notifications for the start of a match. I just received a surprise email that a game I didn’t know I was in had been annulled by time; it turned out the games had automatically started a few days earlier for a tournament but I never received an email. I double-checked my notification settings on my profile and I’ve confirmed that “game start notifications” are enabled.

Has anyone else had this issue?

We’ll send you an email notification that both a tournament has started and the game has started unless we detect that you are online and have a browser window open to the site. Could you have been signed in to the site at the time it started?

Hi matburt - I’m certain I did not have a browser window open to OGS at the time.
