Would it be possible to link to Discord so that my status would indicate I’m playing on OGS and have a link to the game so that others could watch?
Our club uses Discord quite a bit, and this would be a great addition.

I’m not too familiar with discord, but i think it can’t detect browser-based games. Discord only sees what software you have open on your computer, but not what web pages you’re browsing on nor what you do on those web-pages.
Maybe someone who knows more can correct me if i’m wrong here?

Maybe OGS could write some browser plug-ins (for Safari, Chrome and Firefox) so that the browser appears as an application-based game?
Maybe you could check the forums for discord users too?
Sounds like a job for an extension:
