I get this all the time in Firefox, when trying to load https://online-go.com/, view a game, send a challenge, etc. Chrome doesn’t seem to have any of the same issues. I’d love to help diagnose this. I’m pretty familiar with browsers and networks.

Do you have any plugins installed that may block requests?
Sorry, my post wasn’t clear, I don’t get it all the time, I get it a lot, but half the time it’s OK so it’s not blocked, just unreliable. From previous experience with this site, I think it may be something to do with the way Cloudflare proxies websockets and the fact that I’m on EE broadband (which is basically BT)..
Settings → General → scroll to bottom → Websocket to use → try other ones.
Thanks for the reminder. I get errors on automatic, Google and Cloudflare but Public Internet seems OK.
It seems there’s still a problem with maintaining WebSocket connections between BT ←→ Cloudflare. It’s weird that it only seems to affect online-go.com.
IIRC it’s not only OGS, but not all sites that use sockets the same was OGS does (if they did, obviously BT would have to fix it).
If BT fixed it, it would be nice if they inform their colleagues at Telekom in Germany how they did it.
