What would be the best way to request a review of your games on a forum? I was once flagged for “advertisement” and would not wish to repeat that experience!

You were flagged on OGS? It’s acceptableto request game reviews from stronger players.There are many here willing to help. Just be courteous.

We’ll never (intentionally) flag you for asking for reviews in forums or chat. I must, however, apologize because I saw that you were indeed flagged for posting too many links here… that was a mistake and was the result of an overzealous spam filter that is applied on new users and we’ve relaxed that now.
