During the upgrade process there as a problem with our kubernetes instance not mounting the redis data disk correctly. This went unnoticed for several minutes, during which any active games would have been restored from the last archived state, resulting in games being restored in an old state. We’ve resolved the issue with the redis disk and we have the game data, but we’ll now need to reconcile the differences to restore moves.
I’m working on figuring out how to do that, I’ll update this post when I have more information.
Missing moves should be restored now, however there are several games that were incorrectly ended as a result. I’m working on correcting those, although there may be some gnarly side effects as it relates to tournaments and ladders that will have to be rectified by a human (if possible).
OK games have been ‘unended’, but any effects in tournaments and ladders will have to be manually corrected - if you have such a game, please contact a moderator to get things adjusted.
