Hi everyone,

Sharing a free tool I built: go-kifu.com — converts an SGF game record into a print-ready PDF or an EPUB for e-readers (built it originally for reading pro games on my Kindle).

  • No signup, just drop an SGF in the browser (there’s also a small built-in library of classic + recently-synced pro games to browse without needing your own file)
  • Choose how many moves per diagram, or split/merge by hand
  • Two page styles — a clean “Booklet” layout, and “Trainer Notes” which hides move numbers so you can test yourself before revealing them
  • Board is drawn as real vector graphics in the PDF (not a raster screenshot), so it prints sharp
  • Handles CJK player names/comments correctly (Noto Sans KR embedded)

Current limits: main line only (no variation branches rendered), one game per export.

I’m the developer — would love feedback, especially from anyone who studies from books/kifu on paper or an e-reader regularly. Bug reports welcome too.

Is this relatively new? I vaguely remember downloading something with the same name maybe 3 years ago? I posted a thread asking for help with creating a black/white printable board position from one of my online games and I’m fairly certain it had a very similar sounding name to your tool.
