Goquest only has 1 second fischer-increment on 9x9 board, so you need to be fast

O thanks, I have had a few like that! Is there somewhere I can read about these basic things that aren’t exactly rules of Go, do you know? I know the basic rules from when I played en famille 50 years ago, but don’t understand some of the things about timing and scoring and ranks etc…Many thanks anyway.
ps I shouldnt call myself a beginner, but it has been 50 years odd since I played so I allowed myself to!

note that goquest uses very short form of fischer timing, chinese rules and it has really weird ranking system that tells more about how many games someone has played than their "real strength"
