It’s not a new blockchain created for go, but a subchain on an already existing blockchain (if I understand it right). Not that the technicalities are much clearer explained on the other site.
The exchange rate is not fixed with mcash. And the top up in fiat is proposed to be initially in Singapore dollar, just for the convenience of use at the 2 go schools in Singapore: Singapore Weiqi Association and The Go Academy Singapore. It also can be changed.
Mcashchain is not created for God of Go. They are a public blockchain that anyone can issue token on top of it. Exactly the way ERC20 can be created on top of Ethereum blockchain.
Hey guys, we are not promoting anything or sell anything. I’m just a kid. I’m in Singapore Go National Youth Team and i like coding because my father is coder. When I shared my idea with him, he told me to go ahead and try. Of course, ideas and things that I and my friends/cousins do are still kids thing. I cannot be as good as you adults. And if you don’t trust us, children then I think I cannot beg you for your trust right?
This changed as soon as you started asking people for real money. If your project was just a proof of concept that’s fine, but when you’re proposing people exchanging real money for a service, this is no longer just a “kids thing”
Not in the game. The token is listed on crypto exchange hence ppl can acquire it by exchanging with other crypto, not with real $. For the physical top up card. They can buy in Go Saloon and Go Club offline. For the game itself, it’s free to play like all others. Yet, if ppl want to play with some token for fun or to buy some teaching, reviews, video, they can use token to pay to the authors/teachers. It’s the way to make it more fun.
