How do I accept a challenge?

I can tap X and the game disappears, but there doesn’t seem to be a way to accept the challenge. What am I overlooking?

Does this maybe have to do with that @DangoApp_bot_3 is a bot?

Thanks for the replies Samraku and Atorrantre.

I did send a challenge. But the game didn’t show up in my Active Games. It just shows up in challenges after a bit of time has passed. I’ve challenged this bot before with no problem. But a game against this bot timed out in mid-August. So perhaps the issue is with the bot as Atorrante suggests. There are other bots I can play. The nice thing about a bot is that I can switch from correspondence to real-time play at any time since a bot seems to be always on. And since I hadn’t played Go in a decade, I thought I’d start back up with a bot.
