The issue of specifying the scoring method (Japanese or Chinese) came up when I was playing against a bot, but it also seems to have happened in a ladder game. I prefer Japanese scoring, and in both games, the scoring algorithm used Chinese scoring. Is there a way to specify that the score be calculated using Japanese scoring?
UPDATE: Thanks for the quick and responsive answers. I was indeed asking two questions: play against bots and play against humans in ladder games. I now get that Chinese scoring is mandatory in bot games, but in human games, the game creator selects the scoring method, which (I now see) is displayed at the upper right. Thanks, everyone.
I see, I read the OP’s request as specifically asking about bots, but actually he’s got two questions embedded (perhaps without knowing it) … Attorante answered one, and I answered the other (confirmed by benjito)!
The Mandela Effect refers to widespread false memories that large numbers of people or a group of individuals believe . They may be harmless but can also support conspiracy theories or political agendas. Memory is not a perfect recording of events that happened. It can change with time and with practice and priming.
