How is the color chosen?

I hate playing white and have been forced to play white the last 11 matches, how do I stop this from happening?

Create custom challenges with handicap random.

Handicap automatic (the default) gives the weaker player black (if the rank difference is bigger than 1).

Even better, when you create custom challenges, there is literally a box where you can select what colour you want to play as…

To add on to @BHydden post, if the color is set to automatic if you are the higher rank player in the match, you will always be white.

That’s actually the healthiest impact on the community tho :stuck_out_tongue: all the weaker players get to play a stronger opponent.
