I had the same thought
I click voluntarily. It’s a great song, I’ll die on that hill.
Truth!
Yes. Sorry. In my native language we say “in a,b,c ordering”, but I wanted to say alphabetically.
You can see the full list of country names by clicking on the flag counter, which brings you to a website showing more detailed statistics:
http://s05.flagcounter.com/countries/q8o9/
The flag counter on my profile anyways only shows the top 20 countries/regions (in terms of number of visitors from each), but the link above shows the full list.
Do I want to know if this actually needed to be said?
We can have both numbering and alphabetical ordering with painless updating.
Here is a really neat trick with Discourse: you can number all of the items in a list with 1.
, but Discourse will fix the numbering. For example
1. Alice
1. Bob
1. Charlie
1. Dave
becomes
- Alice
- Bob
- Charlie
- Dave
Check the code of this post (it is a wiki)
I’ve updated the top post to use this trick
You can also embed a flag counter into a forums post:
Click on it to visit a webpage with detailed stats and country names (if you don’t recognize the flags).
Note: if you don’t see it, check your ad-blocker settings.
This is amazing
amazing!
