You need to go to your profile (click on your K and again) first then modify
Or click on your K menu in upper right then on your name and then preference
(That’s for the forum)

If you mean for your avatar on the main site, go to your profile page and click edit, then click on your avatar and you can upload a new one.

I only added it because it’s an easy mistake to make. The ‘save’ button is small and appears where the ‘edit’ button was.
