How to share game variation

For example, this game.

I tried a variation, pressed “share”, and a link appeared in the chat box. I tried to share that link to an external app, but it wouldn’t do. When i long pressed it on my phone, it just copy the word “variation” and not the link. When i right click on my desktop there wasn’t a copy option (as if it is not a hyperlink).

I can only get the link of the game and then tell my friend “go to variation 3”

Is there a direct way of pointing to that variation?

As far as I understand these “variations” are NOT LINKS but rather like buttons for showing that variation.

So, you cannot share a link that points directly to that variation, only to the game itself.
