I have automatch requests that I can't delete and that and start tons of games I dont want to play.

In the play section under Your Automatch Requests I see three automatch requests. When I cancel them they disappear and when I reload the browser page, they are right back again. The problem is that they seem to be real requests because I get constantly matched to new games I never wanted to play. I hope someone can help me get rid of those stuck requests. Thanks a lot!"

This is my user account:

I also tried to delete them through the API, but that did also not work.

As far as I can see, the automatch requests have the following UUIDs:

Something similar to this happened to me twice, once in June and maybe once in May or April. In both cases I was browsing OGS, I had been observing games for a minute, I moved over to a completely different browser tab and then a few minutes later I heard notifications associated with a new automatch game beginning.

The first time it happened I was very confused but thought maybe I had hit the automatch button by mistake while navigating through the OGS interface. The second time I was pretty confident I had not hit the automatch button, unless I was suffering some kind of neurological episode.

Did it then just stop by itself for you? Because this has been going on since yesterday and I think it has matched me into almost 20 games that I didn’t try to start by this point.

For me, it never happened multiple times per day, or on consecutive days. There was a multi-week gap between the first time and the second time, and I have no idea if it might happen again.

This one will need @anoek, I’ve alerted him.

I believe the immediate issue for you has been resolved @Go_no_shinme , please let me know if you get any more though.

I think I found the root cause and will be working on a fix.

Amazing! Thank you for fixing this so quickly!

The automatch requests have indeed disappeared and no new games have been started anymore.

Time for me to finish those 50 games now.

I mean, at least you won’t get bored  but obviously feel free to cancel/resign the games if there are too much, that’s on us.

Just let us know to annull them (if they are past cancelling), so it doesn’t crush your rating.
