Has anyone noticed an increase in rudeness on this site recently? I’ve been playing on OGS for about 18 months and its been generally really friendly but now it seems someone cheatso, tries to cheat or complains about every four games…its starting to get really unpleasant!

Maybe you can give some specific examples?
Better to not give a specific example of a player and report the player instead as jlt says.
But if it’s something like general behaviour, rude chat, or escaping or whichever it’d be interesting to see if a few people feel similarly

In the last 50 games this player played I saw:
- one regequitter
- only two interactions in chat: Bot times the opponent thanking for the game.
It’s not easy to see score cheating or attampts at it scrolling through the games or supererogatory questions for undos - that could have happened. I also don’t know if interactions in personal chat happened.
I haven’t either, but if you feel annoyed by a rude attitude from a player, simply report it as there is a team of (benevolent) moderators trying their best to keep a cozy and friendly ambiance on OGS.
